Our interns need at least some experience and capability in one or more of the following areas: 3D texturing, modeling, animation, motion graphics, game design, or even just simple level design. You'll be collaborating with us towards our aesthetic and operational goals, and learning the way our games are pieced together. If you're looking to end up in game design or media, this will be great experience.
Our games and our servers need a lot of testing. Everything from level design to multiplayer bugs. This is the gift that never stops giving (us a pain in the neck). If you like playing games, you'll like testing.
If you don't live in NYC, we'll schedule calls with you on a regular basis to hear your thoughts and track your progress. Otherwise, we'll ask you to come in to the office once or twice a week - for that we'll buy you lunch and a train ticket, and subject you to all forms of eclectic music.
Must have experience in one or more of the following fields:
3D texturing, modeling, animation, motion graphics, game design, level design (level designers must be nyc residents)
Must be at least 18 years old
Must have a serious interest in gaming, and the process behind game development
Must be available 1-2 times a week, either by phone or (if in NYC) in person
Must be a responsible, creative, self-motivated individual
(And if you just want to test our games generally, don't be afraid to apply)
That's the deal! We just want you to know that we think unpaid internships are only lame
if you don't get a lot out of them, and it is our goal, as former interns,
to ensure that your experience with us is enriching, and fruitful towards helping you achieve your next goals.
Seriously.
